Sing with us
We meet on Wednesday evenings between 6.30 and 8.30pm during term times at the Brady Centre, 192-196 Hanbury Street, London E1 5HU. Terms are 12 weeks long with a half term break.
Why join?
Many Women Sing East members have been attending the choir for years because they enjoy singing with others so much. The group is welcoming and friendly and offers members social opportunities as well as the fun and well-being that singing brings.
How to join
Email Women Sing East here and arrange to drop into one of our weekly rehearsals or come along to a taster session. No previous experience is necessary and there are no auditions.
Fees
Fees are £120 for a 12 week term (or £90 concessionary rate). We don’t accept payments for single weeks but offer a free taster session for people interested in joining. We don’t want to turn anyone away for financial reasons and our treasurer is happy to discuss individual arrangements for payment.
Repertoire
We sing a wide and eclectic range of songs from the genres of pop, folk, jazz, world and classical. Members can make suggestions for particular favourites. We have an arrangement for sharing music via Dropbox which enables members to listen and practise between choir sessions.
